This Era BS8621:2004 Euro Escape Sashlock Complete Lockset is a high-security mortice sashlock with keyless egress for easy exit in emergencies. This mortice lock conforms to British Standard 8621:2007 which mirrors the BS 3621:2007 but for 'escape locks' and meets the tough criteria/requirements laid down by insurance companies and the police.

High-security and strength are delivered through the locks 20mm deadbolt, made of hardened steel plates and rollers, it is designed to resist both drilling and sawing attacks. Easily reversible latch bolt to enable both left and right handed operation.

The thumbturn allows easy exit with no need for a key, but the Euro cylinder keeps the door secure from the outside. Especially relevant for entrance doors in multi-residential and other buildings. It also ensures that it is possible to make an emergency escape in an event of a fire.

Supplied complete with 6 pin Euro Cylinder and thumbturn on the inside of the door. The supplied 6 pin cylinder is resistant against picking or drill attacks with the heavy-duty bolt through escutcheons protect the cylinder further.

This 35/35mm Euro cylinder can be keyed alike and masterkeyed.
