Ingenious Single Spindle Replacement Multipoint Door Lock Gearbox

This replacement gearbox can be used to repair single-spindle Ingenious multipoint locks. It is available in a 30mm backset and has a single 8mm spindle with lift lever functionality.

Often fitted to the Ingenious Duplex locks, these gearboxes are a suitable replacement for all single-spindle Ingenious locks. Please note that a double-spindle version of this lock is also available. You can often tell if you need the single spindle version of this gearbox if the handles fitted to the door feature a screw hole below the handle. If they do, then the screw will be fitted through a hole in the gearbox, which replaces the double spindle.

Replacing these handles is simple, by unscrewing three screws on the faceplate and locating the gearbox on the old locking strip.

Please note that the 30mm version of this gearbox is predominantly used on aluminium bifold doors made by Alutech and Cortizo. The narrower gearbox suits the slimmer aluminium profile of these doors.
