- Operated from the outside by key in screw in cylinder
- Operated from the inside by cylinder key, thumbturn, lever handle or paddle handle
- Auxiliary bolt deadlocks the latch when the door is closed against the strike
- Forend: 174mm x 25mm
- Forend screw centres: 160mm
- Case height: 148mm
- Holdback facility available by retracting latchbolt and turning the key anti clockwise
- Accessories, including strikes and faceplates are supplied separately
- When measuring the backset include faceplate
- Interchangeable with MS1850 deadlock without modification
- Compatible with Adams Rite 7100/7101 series electric strikes
- If used in emergency exit applications with a 4591 paddle handle be sure to specify the 8461 ramped jaw strike to comply with BS EN179+A1: 2001
