The Monkeytail window stays offer the most traditional style, taking inspiration from the original 18th century design.

Blacksmiths heat and delicately hammer a thin piece of mild steel to form the curly, Monkeytail shape of this lever handle giving them unrivalled strength and an abundance of character. Designed to match the Monkeytail window furniture.

Available in 4 different finishes (Beeswax, Cast Black, Homemade Black & Pewter) and in 3 sizes (8", 10" & 12").

Supplied with matching SS wood screws.

Beeswax

Beeswax is a most authentic finish for steel. After forging, these products are dipped into hot beeswax which allows them to retain their original colours ranging from blue to deep ochre. All Beeswax ironmongery offers a subtle matt richness and is a more natural, and far softer, alternative to a black powder coated finish.

Black

A black finish is a popular choice in traditional settings. Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike. During the manufacturing process, these products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities.

Pewter

Pewter Patina products are forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance.
