From the Anvil Newbury Offset Non-Locking Espag Window Handles

The Newbury range is made from solid brass and suits both traditional and contemporary windows. Due to their slim fixing plates, these window handles can be fitted on any type of window including uPVC and timber.

The product is handed and therefore care needs to be taken when choosing the correct hand. From the inside view, if your window is hinged on the left then a left-hand fastener is required. They have a 7mm x 40mm spindle and can be locked by way of a grub screw. Suitable for use with an espagnolette gearbox and window lock.

Available in 10 different finishes (Aged Brass, Aged Bronze, Pewter, Polished Brass, Polished Bronze, Polished Chrome, Polished Marine SS, Polished Nickel, Satin Brass & Satin Marine SS) with left and right handed variationsand supplied with matching SS M5 screws.

Aged Brass

Aged Brass finish is intentionally tarnished using an accelerated ageing process that causes a dark patina to gather around the edges and recesses of the design. This rich colour offers a beautiful contrast against the repolished surface areas, offering an abundance of charm and character perfect for any period dwelling.

Aged Bronze

Aged Bronze products are manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. Due to the process used to age the metal, this finish is very dark and has a rich, matt appearance. During the final stages of manufacturing, a durable, matt lacquer is applied to this finish which helps preserve its distinctive tones.

Pewter

Pewter Patina products are forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. The manufacturing technique create contrasting textures on the surface of the metal to create a rich appearance with an abundance of charm. This finish sits well in characterful, rustic homes, but also works as a contemporary alternative in more modern settings.

Polished Brass

Polished Brass products are made from solid, unlacquered brass and have soft, golden hues which offer a depth of reflection. This works wonderfully in period dwellings but can also be used to bring a classic twist to contemporary properties. If left untouched, this finish will oxidise over time and naturally age to create a historically beautiful look. To restore these products to their former glory, simply polish using a dry cloth and some Brasso.

Polished Bronze

These Polished Bronze products are made from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. This finish is aged and then subsequently re-polished to highlight the lighter surface areas against the darker, detailed parts. During the final stages of manufacturing, a robust lacquer is applied which helps preserve this bright contrast.

Polished Chrome

These Polished Chrome products are made from a base of solid brass coated with a durable chrome plating to give an exceedingly high-sheen finish. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. This works best if a cool, clean look is desired.

Polished Marine SS 316

This Polished Marine Stainless Steel is grade 316 and manufactured with high concentrations of chromium and nickel. These products offer great strength and have extremely resilient corrosion resistant properties which make them an excellent choice for coastal locations. This finish is very versatile, with a high sheen appearance that works well with warm tones and cool, contemporary settings alike.

These Polished Nickel products are manufactured from a solid brass base with a high-quality plating. This finish is bright, reflective, and extremely versatile.
