Kenrick Excalibur Winlock Genuine Multipoint Gearbox – Lift Lever or Double Spindle

Sale!

From £34.56 inc VAT | In stock

Product Information

Kenrick Excalibur gearboxes are available in 35mm or 45mm backsets with either a single or double spindle (follower) gearbox. They will have centres at either 92mm or 62mm and 92mm. Both followers are sprung so you have the option of using sprung or unsprung door handles.

The overall height is 225mm and they are fixed to the faceplate with 3 screw holes.

Kenrick Excalibur gearboxes have a hole above the top spindle, 21mm from the top of the case that can be used for bolt-through handle fixings. The top spindle is 128mm from the bottom of the gearbox, to assist when identifying suitable handles.

When measuring the backset, allow 2-3mm for the faceplate, so a 35mm backset gearbox will measure 32mm when not fixed to the strip.

Kenrick Excalibur multipoint door gearboxes feature a small, plastic snib on the faceplate. This can be used to hold the latch back for convenience and to prevent accidental lockouts.

Kenrick Excalibur gearboxes do bear a resemblance to the Fullex XL series and Ingenious gearboxes. However, both Ingenious and Fullex XL multipoint gearboxes are 230mm, so 5mm larger than a Kenrick Excalibur.

We stock a range of associated products for Kenrick Excalibur gearboxes, including multipoint door locks, keeps, spindles, handles and accessories.

Operation: Lift lever or double spindle

Latch reversal: Undo the screw in the latch to remove it. Reverse, reinsert, and replace the screw.

1. On closing the door, the latch is automatically engaged.

2. Lift the handle up to engage the additional locking points.

3. Throw the deadbolt and lock the system by turning the key (on some brands, the deadbolt will be thrown by lifting the handle).

To unlock the door

1. Unlock the system by turning the key.

2. Push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points.

3. A further quarter turn of the key will retract the latch.
