MK4 Square Latch Reversal Button Multipoint Gearboxes with lift lever function are available with a 28mm, 35mm, 40mm, or 45mm backset.

G-TS lock gearboxes have been manufactured in various versions over the years and it's important to select the correct one, as they are not interchangeable. The current G-TS lock started production in 2010 and features different screw fixing positions to previous versions of the lock.

A good way to tell if you have the new or old version is the new version will have a square latch reversal button next to the latch.

Maco G-TS gearboxes feature lift lever functionality. They measure 228mm high by backset + 18mm wide. The centres (PZ) are 92mm. The latch is 29mm high, the deadbolt is 30mm high and the distance from the bottom of the latch to the top of the deadbolt is 54mm.

These gearboxes are fixed to their faceplates with 3 screws. The top screw to the middle screw measures 57mm. The middle to bottom screw measures 180mm.

Operation: Lift Lever

Latch reversal: Inward opening - Push in the square button on the side of the case, remove the latch, reverse, and reinsert.

Latch reversal: Outward opening - Push in the square button on the side of the case, remove the latch, and replace it with an outward opening latch - part number: 3MDL4060.

 

To lock the door

1. Lift the handle upwards to engage the locking points.

2. Lock the locking points and main deadbolt (if present) by turning the key.

To unlock the door

1. Unlock the system by turning the key.

2. Push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points and retract the latch.
