The Soudal Gap Filling Expanding Foam is a hand-held polyurethane expanding foam filler formulated for gap filling applications with high three-dimensional expansion. It is a one-component product that cures rapidly and offers thermal and acoustic insulation properties. The foam adheres without primer to most construction materials.

This expanding foam has a volume yield of approximately 23 litres per 750ml can (FEICA TM1003 standard). Its acoustic insulation rating is 58 dB according to ISO 717-1, and it has a thermal conductivity of 37 mW/mK as per DIN 52612. The product is intended for use within an application temperature range of +5°C to +30°C. Typical applications include filling gaps such as pipe penetrations, insulation, roofing materials, and general construction gaps.

Fitment & What to Check

• Ensure surfaces are clean, free from grease and dust prior to application
• Moisten surfaces with water before applying foam to improve curing and cell structure
• Fill cavities only up to 50% as foam will expand after application
• Shake the aerosol can for at least 20 seconds before and during use to maintain consistency
• For multi-layer application, moisten surfaces again between layers
