The Tedee Pro unit offers the same technology as the Go, but in an aluminium robust unit that connects directly in place of the thumbturn on the inside of a key and turn cylinder. Available in white or black finishes, is rechargeable and is both smaller and quieter in operation than the Go and is more suited to professional and commercial applications. The Pro is rechargeable.

The Tedee lock is a wifi and Bluetooth enabled smart motor that fits on the inside of the door. It attaches to the cylinder tail (Tedee Pro).

The Tedee lock is a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-enabled smart motor that fits on the inside of the door. It attaches to the key head. The motor turns the cam on the euro cylinder to achieve locking via the dedicated smartphone app. Other methods can also be used including voice assistant and smart home systems (when used in conjunction with the optional Wi-Fi bridge) or via a separate keypad (optional extra).

Powered by battery (with a life of up to 10 months), Tedee requires no wiring and is simple to fit. It is only compatible with a cylinder which features key override functionality (the key can be turned even when there’s a key in the other side of the cylinder). 

The Tedee solution is very popular with Airbnb hosts who wish to offer self-service check-ins.

Please note that all Tedee models require a key override cylinder to operate.

Operation

Tedee is compatible with any euro-operated lock (but should not be used with panic or emergency locks) but we are concentrating on multipoint locking. For Key Wind and Automatic operation locks, Tedee can be used to fully lock and unlock the door, using only the app, keypad or smart home connection. For lift lever and nightlatch (including both split spindle and double spindle operation), the user will need to throw the handle to engage the locking points, before Tedee can turn the cylinder.
