Ucem Latch 3 Deadbolts Key Wind Operated Multipoint Door Lock

This Ucem multipoint door lock features 3 Deadbolts & 1 Latch.

A heavy duty European made lock featuring key wind operation and U-rail faceplate with a distinctive 85mm centres and 50mm backset configuration.

Please note that due to the centres sizing of 85mm on these mechanisms, lever on backplate furniture options are limited. We would recommend using lever on round rose furniture and a separate euro escutcheon. If Lever on backplate furniture is required the Versa adjustable levers can be set at 85mm PZ and can be found in the related items on this page.

Operation: Key Wind

To lock the door

1. On closing the door, the latch is automatically engaged.

2. Turn the key to throw and engage or "wind" out the locking points.

To unlock the door

1. Turn the key to unlock the door by "unwinding" the locking points.

2. A further quarter turn of the key will retract the latch.

Latch Reversal:

Insert a screwdriver into back of case, push the latch clear of faceplate, twist to reverse and release.

Once you have reversed the latch you may find the latch sticks, if this happens then release the tension on the screw above the latch slightly which will rectify the problem
