Rim mounted sash and dead locks are often used on solid doors and gates to provide convenient security without the need to mortice out an aperture from the door material. Fixed directly to the surface, on the inside of the door, these locks are a popular option particularly in Victorian style domestic properties.

The Union 1445 Rim Sashlock is a typical cost effective non handed Rim Sash lock with designed for use as a basic security surface mounted product in residential or light commercial environments. the 2 way key hole ensures the lock can be mounted either way up to prevent the need for any re handing, and the 2 extended length keys provided will reach through the thickness of the door from the outside. The 1445 features a bevelled edge and rounded corners.

For use with Rim knob furniture. The knob controls the latch, and the key operates dead bolt from both sides of the door.

Available in black with electro brass features. supplied bagged with staple and 2 keys
