Zoo DIN Euro Mortice Sashlock Case is a DIN standard mortice lock. 

A DIN mortice lock is a type of lock that conforms to DIN standards—a set of German engineering specifications established by the Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN). These standards ensure uniformity in size and fitting, making DIN mortice locks compatible across a wide range of doors and hardware.

• Stainless Steel single fixed forend, 22mm width
• Stainless Steel easily reversible latchbolt
• Stainless Steel double throw dead bolt, 20mm
• Euro profile case
• Anti-rattle strike
• Grip tight follower
• 0.8mm (30 min) and 1mm (60 min) Graphite intumescent kit for use on fire rated doors supplied separately (see below table for details)

Performance Testing

Successfully tested in accordance with the requirements of BS EN12209: 2003

Fire Testing

Successfully fire tested in accordance with the requirements of BS EN1634-1, suitable for use on timber fire doors up to 120 minutes and steel fire doors up to 240 minutes.

Latch reversal procedure - For this product the latch reversal process is fairly unique and simple. Turn the lock case upside down and you should notice the small metal 'blocking arm' behind the latch falls out of the way. Once gravity has pulled this small arm clear, you should be able to push the latch bolt fully in to the aperture behind it and the cut outs in the side of the case should allow you to rotate the latch bolt 180 degrees and then release it back to its normal position.
